Listening character
One main listening character per IEM, independent of frequency emphasis and timbre. This browsing aid uses the retained listening accounts.
Each model is assigned one main listening attraction based on existing reviewed descriptions, not a new full-catalogue search or a quality-score formula. These are subjective browsing suggestions, not fixed genre limits or a guarantee of fatigue-free listening.
Rhythm and impact
Weight, impact and rhythmic energy are the main listening attractions.
Vocal expression
Vocal presence and expressive midrange are the main attractions.
Clarity and detail
Definition, separation and openness attract attention. This is not a technical grade or a claim of measured accuracy.
Relaxed listening
Smooth flow and full, warm texture favour relaxed listening. It does not promise fatigue-free sound in every setup.
Versatile listening
An all-round listening role rather than one narrow attraction. It does not imply flat frequency response or optimality for every genre.
