Sound classification
Representative listening character
Weight, impact and rhythmic energy are the main listening attractions. This editorial browsing category is drawn from retained model-specific reviews; it does not exclude other listening uses.
Similar listening character ↗Legato’s retained reviewed accounts describe a low-weighted, bass-heavy presentation and relatively restrained highs, supporting dark tone. Bass emphasis is retained and the classification does not mean absent treble. This pass’s Prime Audio and Hi End Portable rereads timed out; earlier verified listening records were used.
Differences by listening conditions: Wide-bore tips and an LG-phone setup can retain audible highs. Bass emphasis does not necessarily mean muddiness or absent treble.
Concise English summaries distinguish product specifications, reviewed listening impressions and practical advice. Original source notes remain available below.
Bass quantity and texture
Very deep, heavy bass can colour the entire track.
Vocal placement and midrange
Thick rap and male voices; air and breath can be obscured.
Treble and fatigue
Generally gentle, with dissent about clarity and extension.
Stage, separation and imaging
Scale and separation reports differ; bass/kick overlap can limit clarity.
Disagreement and listening conditions
The bass, vocal and treble descriptions summarise reviewed impressions, not measured quality. Tips, volume, nozzle settings and source conditions can explain differences. Sample relationships and duplicate authors remain disclosed in the source records.
Strengths and caveats from reviewed sources
Supplementary notes retain the original Korean research wording.

Listening suggestions and selection points
Start with rhythm-driven electronic music, hip-hop or rock. Compare the satisfaction of kick and bass impact with how much room remains for voices as bass notes overlap.
These are editorial starting points derived from the existing sound descriptions, not results of a genre-by-genre test. Recordings and arrangements vary even within one genre.

Prime Audio — 7Hz Legato

Legato is described as strongly bass-heavy yet comfortable for extended listening. The writer finds adequate treble from an LG V10 in expert mode, while some other DAC or amplifier combinations obscure it. This supports bass emphasis, but their particular setup experience does not establish a universal drive requirement.
